Korean manufacturer Hardkernel announced the new single board computer called ODROID-C2. Following popular series of computers ODROID-C1 and ODROID-C1+ this is the first machine with 64-bit CPU (ARMv8 architecture). The board is also the first SBC from Hardkernel (and one of the first ever) that supports HDMI 2.0 (with a throughput of 18 Gb/s) and thus allows displaying up to 4K resolution at 60 frames per second. ODROID-C2 will be available for order from March 2, 2016 for $40.
